As one of the proud owners of an amazing 1896 Queen Victorian home (listed on the historical registry), I entrusted the monumental task of its renovation to Alloy Design and Development…. and let me say, it was the best decision I ever made!
From the moment they stepped foot into the home, it was evident that Alloy possessed an unparalleled passion for historical preservation and a keen eye for intricate design details. Over the course of a year-long project, the Alloy Team meticulously restored every inch of the sprawling 10-bedroom, 6,000 sq/ft abode, both inside and out.
One of the most remarkable aspects of their work was the restoration of the original wood floors, which now look as good (if not better) as they did in 1896. Alloy spared no expense in sourcing authentic antique fixtures and meticulously recreating period-appropriate design elements, ensuring that every corner of the home exudes an air of authenticity and grandeur…. They nailed it!
Alloy went above and beyond by carefully curating beautiful lighting and furnishings, transforming the home into a veritable masterpiece. Each room boasts its own unique character and theme, seamlessly blending historic charm with modern comforts.
Despite the extreme complexities of the project, Alloy remained steadfast in their commitment to excellence, never compromising on quality or craftsmanship. Their expertise in design, renovation, and restoration was apparent at every stage of the process, resulting in a finished product that exceeded my expectations.
In it’s current form, as a fully functioning Airbnb/VRBO property, it continues to captivate guests as rave reviews continue to come in praising the restoration and the thoughtfully selected furnishings—a true testament to their dedication to their craft.
